The following are methods for storing plastic molds:
First: Clean the inside and outside of the mold with a plastic or rubber rod after use to prevent cement residue from remaining. Do not use hard metal objects to clean it, as this may scratch the inner surface of the plastic mold and affect its reuse.
Second: Wipe the inside of the plastic mold clean with a cloth, double-checking for any residue and ensuring the mold is completely dry.
Third: Pick out any severely damaged plastic molds and set them aside.
Fourth: Stack the intact plastic molds neatly in a dry, dark indoor environment. Ideally, store them in a windowless warehouse to avoid direct sunlight.
If this is not possible, painting the windows or covering them with a cloth can effectively prevent sunlight exposure and excessive oxidation of the plastic molds.
