Baosteel SW2738 is a high-performance pre-hardened plastic mold steel, equivalent to leading international grades including Japanese PX-5, German DIN 1.2738 and American AISI P20+Ni. It is specially developed for medium-to-large injection molds, designed to meet stringent requirements for high-gloss surface finish, uniform hardness and long-term dimensional stability.

With an optimized nickel-alloy strengthening system, vacuum refining process and large-forging-ratio homogenization treatment, SW2738 features exceptional internal microstructure uniformity.
